Persistent or chronic pain is a debilitating condition, in Ireland one person in four suffer from it. The condition affects people physically as well as psychologically. Physical activity has been shown to reduce the severity of symptoms and improve quality of life in sufferers. For some however, fear of pain prevents people from engaging in this effective, free therapeutic activity.
